PENCIL SHARPENER.

If you have little ones, you may not understand either, but if you have kids who are using pencils, you may just understand how I feel.

I’ve bought my share of pencil sharpeners, electric and non-electric. Our last electric pencil sharpener was awful. The other day, as I was trying to sharpen a bunch of pencils (without much luck), Abby told me that our neighbor’s sharpener worked great. I was skeptical. She ran over to borrow it, and I was over the moon. Yes, I really was. I still am. The lead stays in the pencil, the tip gets sharpened. It worked exactly the way it was supposed to work. I bought one the next day.

Let me tell you another thing I’ve learned about pencil sharpeners. Some people spend $50 or more on them. I’m going to buy myself a cute shirt because this one only cost me $13.99.
