Family pumpkin carving night. Three super cute pumpkins. Delicious toasted pumpkin seeds. Freezing weather that turned to snow. Wilted pumpkins… That’s my sad pumpkin story.

Not really (too sad), but I was bummed that I didn’t get a picture of the pumpkins. I told myself I would just take a picture “later”. Later turned into not at all because they didn’t look nearly as great as the night before. So… we decided to get more pumpkins to have another fun family night and get pictures.

No pumpkins at King Soopers. No pumpkins at Safeway. No pumpkins at Wal-Mart. One lone pumpkin at Target. He came home with us.

Bill and the kids decided to carve a scary one. Jack, “The Pumpkin King”. Apparently “The Pumpkin King” is from The Nightmare Before Christmas (which we’ve never watched). Wish he had friends, but he worked out great. The kids loved lighting him and turning off the lights…

And, I loved getting a picture.
