I know, I know… I’ve been missing for awhile. It seems like when I think I’ll have some time to catch up on blogging, I really don’t. But, as you can see, I’ve changed the format of my blog (which I’m super excited about) and got lots to share. Boy, am I behind!!! The good news is that I am hoping to post consistently to catch you up on the action!

While I’ve been gone, I won an electric mower from Ozone Aware. I still can’t believe they drew my name to win the mower. I’ve never mowed in my life, but this light electric mower makes me feel like trying it out! (That’ll be a picture perfect moment!) I love it, and it works great. No gas. You just recharge the battery and mow. Amazing, light, good for the environment, and cuter than your average mower.

Ozone Aware hosted a fantastic event at the Denver Zoo in May and gave away free tickets to all of their guests. Perfect weather, and I loved how educational it was for our kids (and me). Everyone pledged to be good to our environment in three ways: (1) drive less, (2) refuel after 5PM, and (3) mow after 5PM on hot days. The pledge is so simple… changing just a few things can make a big difference. With a child who has asthma, it was great to hear other ways to help her breathe better. P.S. I loved, loved, loved the Ozone Aware team. I had never heard of the organization before going to the event but was impressed with their cause and the people who worked there. The event was so much fun too. Our kids had a blast! Thanks, Ozone Aware!
